This course is profound. I have a completely new relationship with my home and it has started to feel much more supportive to me. The main impetus after this class will be to continue to make it so and I really liked how the experience has been a direct one, not based on rules or formulas, but by cultivating a direct relationship to my home and my property.
This course has been different for me to the other courses I have taken as it has been much less about doing things (like clutter and paper clearing) and more about reflection. It has reinforced how much I love my home and how connected I am to it.
During this course, I have felt more connected to my home. My husband and I have been living in this house for 22 years and I have often considered moving. For the first time, I feel some connection with my home. I have now started to clear clutter and unpack some moving boxes that we have had in the basement for years and years. This course has given me a lot of knowledge and energy!
This course has been of HUGE importance for me. I know I've felt like that after every Karen Kingston course I've taken, but this time I *really* mean it. I feel there are many reasons for this to be able happen: life lived, lessons learned, clutter cleared... all kinds of steps that have taken me to this point, where the tasks of this course make such a perfect sense and where I can cognize my life from a different standpoint.
I feel that the deeper vision of my life is the main thing I'm taking with me from this course. And the vision of my home as a reflection of it. I feel what's needed to make it good at this point of my life. I see what I need. I'm also grateful for the support of the space in this course. With it I've already taken some tangible steps towards a home that has clear purpose for each space, a warm and nourishing heart and a more clear and calm space of meditation.
This course was amazing, so many new things, so much for me to digest and to put into practice. I think I had no idea beforehand what I was signing up for. There is still so much to discover and learn!
What a lovely course - the momentum it has provided is remarkable. I love the opportunity to make creating conscious space a priority. I've enjoyed too the feel of support of both Karen and my course mates. Thank you to everyone who posted. I love seeing how much is the same, no matter where each of us lives in the world or our nationality.
One thing I've learned from taking Karen's classes is that they continue to "bloom" long after ending. It is a gradual awakening; each layer softly blooms upward with subsequent layers thus exposed to my awareness as I digest and process what I've just learned. Many warm thanks, Karen, for another insightful journey, and to everyone in the group for all the thoughtful comments, informative ideas, and sharing.
I really love the clarity and safety of Karen’s courses, which make it possible to go deep into one's home and one's life. I avoid most online forums, but I look forward to Karen’s very much. The space fosters authenticity and a sense of connection that is rare.
I began this course feeling down about the house I live in. Over the years, my feelings about it have become became rather negative, and I couldn’t pinpoint why and didn’t know what to do about it. This course has changed my feelings about my home and now I have some actions I can do regularly to care for and own my space for myself and my family.
So many new insights and all the links provided to investigate further and dive deeper. I loved my home before, but now it feels as if I have fallen in love again and am seeing different aspects of it in a new light.
